Have a question for a lawyer? It’s never been easier to get a quick answer, and it’s free. The Indianapolis Bar Association (IndyBar) is here to help with Legal Line, a free legal advice call-in service to be held on Tuesday, February 10. Attorney volunteers be answer calls to help the public from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 317-269-2000.

Licensed Indiana attorneys participating in Legal Line will be prepared to answer questions on such topics as divorce, child custody, child support, landlord/tenant issues, bankruptcy, personal injury, employment law and more. All calls are confidential. Those with complex legal issues or anyone seeking representation are encouraged to contact the IndyBar’s Lawyer Referral Service at (317) 269-2222, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or go online to www.indylawyerfinder.com.

Individuals with questions about bankruptcy can also contact the IndyBar’s Bankruptcy Help Line on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. at (317) 269-1910.

These community services are sponsored by the Indianapolis Bar Association, a 137 year old organization of Indianapolis area attorneys, judges, paralegals and law student, and are made possible through the generosity of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation.
