By Beth Cox, Kids' Voice of Indiana
In keeping with our goal to increase community-building opportunities for solo or small firm attorneys and paralegals, IndyBar member Patty McKinnon has taken lead in setting up an opportunity for us to serve dinner at Ronald McDonald House on Monday, Feb, 17 at 6 p.m. at the Limestone Ronald McDonald House located on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis.
A few things to know:
- Who: No more than 12 - 15 people. Kids can come, but will need to be supervised by a parent.
- When: Monday, February 17, 2020. Arrive by 5:30 p.m. We will serve dinner from 6 to 7 p.m. We will be on our way home by 7:30 p.m. We are responsible for setting up and cleaning up the area.
- What: We will serve up to 50 people. Homemade dishes work best. Patty signed us up for ham and mac and cheese. We can bring other main courses, side dishes and desserts. If you bring cookies, put two to three in individual bags. We will also need to bring a box of disposable food service gloves to wear, a set of take-out containers and paper plates (big and small) and silverware.
- Where: the Limestone Ronald McDonald House (not inside Riley Hospital) at 435 Limestone St., Indianapolis, IN 46202. Parking is available behind the building but you will need to pull in the circle driveway, get a parking pass, then park your car. You can unload your items in the driveway. Here is a link to the map for the address.
