No, I am not talking football (although I absolutely LOVE football.) This is about history in the making. In November, 68 days from today, voters across our Nation will take part in the 58th election of the President of the United States of America. Yes, you read that right; while we will be electing our 45th President, there have been 57 elections to date. In those 57 elections, there have been 42 different men elected. Yes, again you read that right – 42, not 44.  President Grover Cleveland is counted twice because his two (2) terms as President were not consecutive AND President Gerald Ford was never elected as President (nor as Vice-President in spite of holding both offices). Read more about the history of presidential elections in the upcoming issue of Paralegals Tip the Balance (the newsletter of the Paralegal Committee – look for it on September 9, 2016).
