Marion Superior Court has hired four new magistrates to serve on various dockets. All have been approved by the court's General Term. The magistrates will help to fill positions that became available as the result of the retirements of Magistrates Caryl Dill and Deb Shook and the appointment of Magistrate Ryan Gardner to the Marion Superior Court Bench. An additional magistrate will be hired to serve in the courtroom of newly-appointed Judge Geoffrey Gaither.

Magistrates Marie Kern and Tiffany Vivo will serve in the Family Division. Both had been serving as magistrates in Marion Circuit Court.

Magistrate Patricia McMath will serve in the courts of Judge PJ Dietrick (Civil Division 12) and Judge Timothy Oakes (Civil Division 2). Magistrate McMath comes to the court from the Office of the Indiana Attorney General.

Magistrate Tara Melton will fill a vacancy in Judge Mark Jones's Juvenile Division courtroom. Magistrate Melton joins the court from Child Advocates.
