Five Fast Tips for Young Trial Lawyers in Court

The American Bar Association has published an article that covers five (5) quick tips that will greatly assist young lawyers as the venture into court to gain valuable experience interacting with judges, juries and co-counsel. These practical tips will prove very beneficial and the article is a very quick read. The article can be found here.

It should also be noted that tip number (3) three – “Know the rules and follow them” is embodied in the IndyBar’s Litigation Section’s Court's Guide that is available online for all Litigation Section members. This electronic guide lists judge’s preferred procedures & policies, describes courtroom equipment, includes sample case management orders and provides contact information for many courts in Marion County.
