IndyBar member Patrick D. Sullivan was the longest-serving Indiana Court of Appeals judge in the court’s history. He passed away Thursday after a brief illness, the court announced.

Judge Sullivan was first elected in 1968 and retired in 2007. He was the last serving member of the court to have been selected through a popular election.
