"You should not become a lawyer because you love the law, you should become a lawyer because you are fascinated by the law." This and other gems are among the little lessons that a Northwest 3L learned in law school. It rounds out a bulleted list of 15+ things that a student learns throughout their law school experience, none of which are things learned from a textbook.

From humorous bits - "Children are not per se mentally defective" - to personal reflection - "Your responsibility is to your client, not to justice. This sucks sometimes", (although, according to this lawyer, the public is your clienttoo) - this piece is one that many law students may be able to relate to.
