Whether it's your first year of law school or you're returning for your second or third, some helpful advice about how to navigate law school always serves as good reminder. This article by Erika Glenn, a lead immigration attorney in Houston, breaks down law school tips by classwork, professors and classmates, free time, and planning for the future.

One of her tips is to start saving up for bar study, which is something many students don't consider early on in law school but will really pay off later.

To hear more straight from an Indianapolis attorney, check out What You Need to Know: Surviving Your First Semester of Law School. This program, hosted by the IndyBar, will be on Thursday, September 11 from 1 to 2 p.m. at IU McKinney, Room 300. Holly J. Wanzer of Wanzer Edwards PC will be giving out invaluable advice to help students get through this semester. Find more information and register here! The event is FREE for law students.
