The IndyBar Law Student Division recently selected ten new board members and elected its chair for the 2018-2019 school year, Eric Trudrung.

Trudrung is passionate about the Law Student Division, having served as a board member for the past couple of years. He wants to help students realize their goals as legal professionals in the city of Indianapolis and hopes to foster relationships for students in order to do so.

"There exists a misconception that networking is merely to seek employment; however, a student needs to be able to build relationships in the community if they hope to be a successful attorney," Trudrung said.

He also hopes to collaborate often with other sections and divisions within the IndyBar in hopes of encouraging students to become involved with the various practice areas represented in those groups.

Congratulations, Eric! We look forward to your leadership. A warm welcome to our new board members, too!
