Keep up with the committee: follow along with our "How I Spent My Summer" series to see how the Law Student Division Executive Committee members spent their summer!
This summer, I worked as a law clerk for Craig Kelley & Faultless LLC, a small personal injury firm in Indianapolis. I focused primarily on litigation drafting while balancing a caseload of current and prior cases. I had the chance to shadow our attorneys during mediations, summary judgment hearings, and client intake to enrich my view of litigation. Overall, I had a great experience learning the etiquette and legal skills necessary to become a successful litigator.
I also took two summer law courses (criminal law and juvenile justice) which made for a busy and exciting summer! Finally, I vacationed in Chicago to visit various tourist attractions. I look forward to engaging our law students this school year to become active in the Indianapolis legal community and support their path through law school with the Indy Bar Law Student Division.
