Keep up with the committee: follow along with our "How I Spent My Summer" series to see how the Law Student Division Executive Committee members spent their summer!

This past summer, I transitioned from my job as a Legislative Assistant at the Indiana State Senate to join Short Strategy Group as an Associate working in legislative and governmental affairs. I was very excited to start a new chapter of my career and for the opportunity to work with two esteemed people in the Indianapolis community, Frank Short and Michael Solari. I also took consecutive summer classes: Professional Responsibility and Middle Eastern Comparative Law.

Although I had a busy school/work schedule, I managed to find time to take a trip to Maine with my girlfriend, play a few rounds of golf (I spent more time looking for my ball than actually playing), attended three close friends’ weddings and spent time with my family. As I enter my 3L year, I am excited to serve as the IndyBar Law Student Division’s Marketing Coordinator. This organization does such a fantastic job of bringing people within the Indianapolis legal community together and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store!
