Keep up with the committee: follow along with our "How I Spent My Summer" series to see how the Law Student Division Executive Committee members spent their summer!

By Jennifer Scott, McKinney 2L

This past summer, I had my first experience as a legal extern in the Licensing & Homeowner Protection Unit of the Office of the Indiana Attorney General. During this externship, I had the opportunity to work alongside a number of experienced attorneys to protect the State of Indiana and its citizens. In addition to this externship, I completed two summer courses.

Despite my busy schedule, I was fortunate to find time to spend with my friends and family, including taking trips with my boyfriend to Alabama and South Carolina. I am currently in my second year of school and have just recently become an at-large executive member of IndyBar’s Law Student Division executive board. I am excited to be a part of such a reputable organization and help my fellow board members make this year a success!
