The YLD’s Civic Committee has worked with the Law Student Division during the last several months on a program called “Suited Up.” The program is aimed to provide low-income, college-bound high school seniors with dress clothes. Local lawyers donated nearly all of the clothing for the young men and women. The high school students recently received their clothes and will attend a “fitting” with Bar Association members. The Suited Up program will culminate on April 22 with the young men and women receiving their newly dry cleaned and tailored clothing, and will feature a presentation from the YLD and Law Student Division regarding college tips and appropriate interview conduct.
