Applying for the bar exam is a stressful addition to your final semester of law school. IndyBar provides the Bar Application Clinic, a one-stop shop, to make your life easier. The event was held on Wednesday, October 21 and is offered at a reduced rate for IndyBar members.
The clinic will get three pieces of the bar application completed: (1) your fingerprints, (2) your driving record and (3) your photo.
- The fingerprints are taken and forwarded to the Indiana State Police.
- The driving records will be printed right there and sent to you in PDF form, so you can upload them to the online application.
- The photo will be formatted to match the necessary requirements and sent to you in JPEG form, so you can upload it to the online application.
In short, the clinic does not complete the bar application for you, but it gets three critical steps out of the way. You still have to get online (https://myble.courts.in.gov/home) to start your application. If you have any questions, please let any executive committee members know.
IndyBar offers this convenient clinic in advance of every exam. For July 2016 bar takers, the session will take place in late February.
