On Friday, March 27, four government affairs attorneys and the chair of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Assocication gathered with 12 law students for coffee at the IndyBar. We discussed what kind of work they do during the state legislative sessions, the challenges of their jobs and what we can do as law students to prepare for a career in government affairs. They provided us with a candid view into their line of work and gave great advice. It was a great opportunity for law students to get insight into a career in government affairs and make contacts in the local legal community.
