On January 22, eight attorneys from both the public and private sectors and 14 law students gathered for a Breakfast with the Bar event focused on women in law. We discussed what kind of work to do during the first summer of law school, how to find the first job after law school and how to manage our career and our career expectations.
Advice included:
- Be confident in yourself
- When looking for a job, look for one that is a good fit with your personality
- Know what you want from your job
- Speak up in order to set work/life balance.
