On Friday, March 13, 2020, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act with bi-partisan support. Among other things, the bill, if enacted, would provide additional paid and unpaid leave to most employees of employers with fewer than 500 employees. The bill is expected to be taken up by the Senate early this week. See a summary of the leave-related provisions here.
