Many members of the IP Section and other practitioners attended the USPTO Patent Pro Bono Program Update and Ethics Presentation in June. We were fortunate to have Grant Corboy and William Covey of the United States Patent & Trademark Office along with Norman Hedges of CIPR at Maurer School of Law share their insights.
And we are excited to partner with the Business Law Section for an IP Corporate Counsel Panel Discussion on Wednesday, September 6th. Be sure to save the date when we will learn from Megan Dortenzo of Cummins, Jason Houser of Allison Transmission, and David Frey of Rolls-Royce North America.
Later this fall, Marcelo Copat and Steve Willis will be presenting two 1-hour advanced seminars on 35 USC 101 and 112. And Kevin Erdman is working on the year-end IP ethics seminar.
Last, we awarded three Patent Bar Scholarships, and I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events.
