Constance (Connie) Lindman, a partner in SmithAmundsen's Indianapolis office and co-chiar of its Intellectual Property Group, will chair the IndyBar Intellectual Property Section in 2014. Learn more about Connie from her firm bio below.

Connie is a partner in SmithAmundsen’s Indianapolis office and is Co-chair of the Intellectual Property Practice Group.

Connie provides legal services in the fields of intellectual property, technology, marketing, and distribution as well as employment and consulting contracts. In addition to 20-plus years of legal practice, Connie has significant business experience having served as vice president of a publishing company where she managed several departments in addition to serving as general counsel.

Connie’s practice includes negotiation of software agreements (license, support, OEM, VAR, SaaS, etc.), protection and litigation of trademark, trade secret, copyright and patent rights, and prosecution of trademark and copyright registrations. She has experience negotiating a wide variety of agreements such as intellectual property and technology license agreements; wholesale and retail marketing and distribution contracts; professional services agreements; employment agreements; and consulting agreements.

Connie is licensed to practice in Indiana and can assist with federal intellectual property matters nationwide.
