Hope, positivity, understanding. Those are just three of many feelings that Aaron Likens, author, public speaker and autism ambassador, hopes to impart as he strives to increase awareness and comprehension of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as a plenary speaker at this year’s Bench Bar Conference in Louisville, Kentucky.

Likens is a frequent lecturer on the topic in his effort to help others understand what it’s like to live with ASD and how those diagnosed with ASD can be better supported.

With greater understanding and awareness in the health care community, diagnosis of autism is on the rise, making it likely that lawyers will come into contact with individuals on the spectrum in their practice. Bench Bar attendees will benefit from Likens’ explanation of the disorder from his own perspective and will learn first-hand how they can best engage with those with autism both personally and professionally. You can look forward to his session on Friday, June 15 at 9 a.m.

Attracting hundreds of attorneys, judicial officers and guests, the Bench Bar Conference offers a minimum of six hours of CLE credit (ethics included) and the best connections between judges and lawyers. Registration is now open at special early bird rates! See registration details, the agenda and reserve your spot now at indybenchbar.org. The countdown is on: don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience!
