Marion Circuit Court, Paternity Division is accepting resumes for a full-time Commissioner. This position will be assigned to the Paternity Division for five (5) days per week.
 
When assigned to the Marion Circuit Court, Paternity Division job duties will include reviewing and ruling on paternity family law motions; presiding at hearings and bench trials involving paternity family law matters including protective orders. 

Applicants must be admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana with at least five (5) years of practice and be in good standing with the Indiana Supreme Court. Marion County residency is required.  

In addition, applicants are preferred to have at least three (3) years of recent experience in family law issues regarding custody, parenting time, child support, emancipation, tax exemptions, protective orders, jurisdiction, relocation, change of venue, and third party custody.  

It is a plus if applicants have prior trial experience in the area of domestic relations, particularly paternity matters. It is also a plus if applicants have computer experience in Microsoft Windows 10 and Outlook.  

Salary: $124,900 annually. This salary is non-negotiable.
