Indianapolis Bar Foundation Announces 2016 Academic and Educational Scholarship Recipients - IndyBar News

The Indianapolis Bar Foundation awarded seven scholarships to both law students and to individuals preparing to take the Indiana Bar Exam in July of 2016.

Three academic scholarships were awarded to McKinney Law Students to help fund their law school career. The following students received scholarships for $1,500:

  • The Hon. William E. Steckler Scholarship  – Alexander Van Gorp
  • Neil E. Shook Scholarship – Emily M. Sargent
  • Rosalie F. Felton Scholarship – Whitney L. Rogers
     

The individuals below received educational scholarships for the IndyBar’s summer 2016 Indy Bar Review Course. This course, the only Bar Review course offered by a bar association in the country, will prepare these individuals to sit for the Indiana Bar Exam in July 2016.

  • Alexandria M. Hanauer
  • Christi M. Rever
  • Bradley L. Riley
  • Alexander Van Gorp
     

The next opportunity for scholarships will be during the winter and applied to the winter 2016 Indy Bar Review Course. Visit indybar.org/ibf to access application materials, which are due November 1.

The Indianapolis Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the Indianapolis Bar Association, is a community-focused leader of the local legal profession.
