It is not uncommon to have legal questions, and finding answers for many is not easy.  The members of the Indianapolis Bar Association (IndyBar) want to help.

That’s why on Tuesday, April 12 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Indianapolis area lawyers are offering their expertise at Ask A Lawyer, a free legal advice program held at designated public libraries across Marion County.  Indianapolis area residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to speak face to face with an attorney at no cost to receive help for their legal needs.  No matter what the issue, IndyBar lawyers will help find the answer.

Qualified, licensed attorneys will be available for one-on-one free consultations at the following Marion County Public Library locations:

BRIGHTWOOD LIBRARY 2435 North Sherman Drive

CENTRAL LIBRARY 40 East St. Clair Street

EAST 38TH STREET LIBRARY 5420 East 38th Street

EAST WASHINGTON LIBRARY 2822 East Washington St.

HAUGHVILLE LIBRARY 2121 W. Michigan St.

NORA LIBRARY 8625 Guilford Avenue

PIKE LIBRARY 6525 Zionsville Rd.

SHELBY LIBRARY 2502 Shelby Street

SOUTHPORT LIBRARY 2630 East Stop 11 Road

For individuals who have a legal question, but are unable to visit one of the live locations, attorneys will also be available for free telephone consultations on April 12 by calling the IndyBar offices at 317-269-2000 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Ask A Lawyer is in its 11th year and is a community service event sponsored by the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Foundation, in cooperation with Indianapolis Public School and the Indianapolis/Marion County Public Library.
