About the Pro Bono Standing Committee:

The Indianapolis Bar Association's Pro Bono Standing Committee promotes equal justice by developing, facilitating, coordinating, supporting and improving programs and service designed to serve the legal needs of disadvantages residents of the city of Indianapolis and its surrounding communities while providing opportunities for the Indianapolis Bar Association's members to fulfill their professional duty and personal responsibility to provide pro bono services for those in need.

335 pro bono volunteers completed donated 1,210 hours of service in 2010.

The estimated value of services adds up to $242,000.

IndyBar pro bono volunteers donated their time in seven different programs, helping to reach a wide range of individuals in need of legal assistance.
