News You Can Use

  • Survey: American Bar Association Commission on the American Jury - This survey is designed to collect information from judges, lawyers, court staff and other participants in the legal system to enable data-based examination of the causes for the decline in jury trials, identify issues and inform potential policy initiatives around the efficacy of the jury trial as a fundamental tenant of the American system of justice. The Commission will be collecting data through June 1, 2018 and anticipates publishing results in late 2018. We invite IndyBar members to participate! Take the survey here.
  • Application Period Open for Bar Leader Series Class XVI - Through the Bar Leader Series, participants will learn what it means to be a leader, gain insight vital to leaders in our community and learn how to communicate, motivate, inspire and succeed not only in your law career but also in service to professional, political, judicial, civic and community organizations. Apply here by July 1!
