YLD Members Participate in Great Indy Cleanup

By Chris Engel, Clark Quinn Moses Scott & Grahn LLP

On June 10, IndyBar YLD members, Jennifer Strange and Whitney Fritz, participated in the Binford Redevelopment and Growth (BRAG) Neighborhood Great Indy Cleanup with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful (“KIB”), a local non-profit organization that supports community involvement projects throughout the city.

The BRAG Neighborhood Great Indy Cleanup was a large-scale litter cleanup and habitat restoration program to support the BRAG neighborhood (the area surrounding Binford Boulevard from Kessler Boulevard to 71st Street). Jennifer and Whitney spent the morning at Skiles Test Elementary relocating the school’s student garden to allow for an expansion of the gym for student use. Thank you Jennifer and Whitney for volunteering your time to keep our city beautiful!

The YLD participates in several civic events throughout the year including events through KIB, Gleaners Food Bank, and the IndyBar Legal Line. If you are interested in participating in a YLD civic event, please contact the YLD Civic Committee Chairs Jennifer Strange (jstrange@dsvlaw.com) and Jenai Brackett (jbrackett@fbtlaw.com).
