Exciting things are happening at the IndyBar! A new section—the E-Discovery, Information Governance & Cyber Security Section—is coming in 2017. We look forward to providing IndyBar members with expanded opportunities for education, leadership and networking through this new group.

As planning begins for 2017, IndyBar members are being sought to serve on the new section’s Executive Committee. The Executive Committee will work together to plan and execute social events, educational programming and community service initiatives. As a member of the Executive Committee, you would be expected to attend the committee meetings held over the course of the year and participate in section initiatives. The expected time commitment averages 1.5 hours per month.

Additional volunteer opportunities within the section are also available for members interested in contributing articles for the section webpage and members interested in planning or presenting educational programs.

If you are interested in serving on the Executive Committee or in another volunteer capacity for the section, please email Deneen at dfitzgerald@indybar.org by October 7.

Note: Section membership will be required for volunteer involvement. Look for the E-Discovery, Information Governance & Cyber Security Section on your renewal statement or membership application coming this fall!

We welcome the opportunity to show you more about the E-Discovery, Information Governance & Cyber Security Section and look forward to seeing you at some of our upcoming events!
