On Saturday, December 12, In lieu of a division Holiday Party, the Women and the Law Division (WLD) sponsored a holiday party for approximately 30 children residing at the Coburn Place in Indianapolis.
Coburn Place Safe Haven provides fully furnished apartments to women who have suffered from domestic violence. These women, along with their children, stay anywhere from six months to two years to begin healing and move toward a life of independent living.
