E-Discovery, Information Governance & Cyber Security Section News

Posted on: Jul 10, 2019

Get to know members of the E-Discovery, Information Governance & Cybersecurity Section! This blog series highlights section members, their practice and their personal interests. Take a seat and get to know them! This week's post features Robert Simmons of Wooden McLaughlin LLP.

I am an associate at Wooden McLaughlin LLP and a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group with the semi-official moniker of the "e-discovery associate."

I have experience in a wide variety of complex litigation in federal and state courts, representing commercial clients in matters relating to trade secrets, non-competes, medical device product liability, and contract cases. My practice is heavily focused on the e-discovery components of the litigation process, so it was only natural that I would want to be involved with the IndyBar E-Discovery, Information Governance & Cybersecurity Section.

I earned my J.D. from the IU Maurer School of Law in Bloomington and my B.A. in Political Science from Benedictine University in Illinois. Outside of the office, I enjoy photography, mountain biking and competing in Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournaments.

I look forward to meeting all of the Section members in person at our upcoming social events and CLEs!
