Get to know members of the E-Discovery, Information Governance & Cybersecurity Section! This blog series highlights section members, their practice and their personal interests. Take a seat and get to know them! This week's post features Stephanie Boxell of Faegre Baker Daniels LLP.
I am an associate at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP and a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Practice Group as well as the ERISA Litigation and Public Sector Finance & Transaction Sub-Groups.
I have experience in a wide variety of complex business disputes in federal and state courts, representing commercial and public clients, individuals and benefit plans and plan fiduciaries pursuing and defending constitutional claims under the Indiana and United States Constitutions, contract, statutory and shareholder claims and ERISA disputes, including those related to employee pension and welfare plans, long-term disability plans, ESOPs, severance plans and equity awards, qualified domestic relations orders and multiemployer pension plans. I also maintain a regular pro bono practice.
I earned my J.D. summa cum laude from the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law. I received degrees in Biology and Political Science from Indiana University, Bloomington. Outside of the office, I coach a local high-school mock trial team and co-lead a Habitat for Humanity Women Build team. I unwind with hot yoga at the Hot Room and spending time with my French bulldog Bugsby enjoying all downtown Indianapolis has to offer.
The E-Discovery, Information Governance & Cybersecurity Section hosts great social events and CLEs throughout the year, so please continue to check out the “Events and Education” section of the IndyBar website for more details. I look forward to meeting you in person at one of our upcoming events!
