Our very own Madison Hartman, student member of the IndyBar Health Care & Life Sciences Section, recently was published in the American Bar Association’s  “The Health Lawyer.” Congrats to Madison! 

Economic dependence is frequently cited as one of the most significant barriers to seeking help or leaving an abusive relationship. This article discusses how the Family & Medical Leave Act, the Affordable Care Act, Title VII and other relevant state laws play a role in assisting female victims of intimate partner violence maintain employment throughout their abuse.
