The bipartisan 2-year budget deal reached by the Senate would increase funding for mental health issues, opioid addiction, the National Institutes of Health, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, among other health programs. It remains unclear whether the House will support the deal. Read more about the health programs supported by the deal here.
