The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) expects to roll out final regulations this summer that would require food producers adopt written food safety plans. The final regulations are aimed at preventing future outbreaks like the listeria contamination earlier this year that was linked to at least three deaths and the recall of ice cream products sold by Blue Bell Creameries, Inc.
