IndyBar member Lanae Harden recently published "Divorce - Be Wary of Friendly Advice" to Harden Jackson LLC's blog. In her post, she warns against heeding unsolicited opinions and advice from others during the process of a divorce case.

Harden says that friends and family are great for emotional support and as a sounding board, but that when it comes to legal and/or financial matters, clients should trust their attorneys. "Every situation is unique. Every situation needs expertise and professional guidance," she writes.

Harden is a founding member of Harden Jackson LLC and chairs the firm's Family Law Practice Group.
