On Monday, September 22 from 3 to 5 p.m., Jim Reed and Kate Burroughs will discuss practical considerations when representing same-sex couples in Indiana with the CLE "What Family Law Attorneys Need to Know About Representing Same Sex Couples in Indiana".
As Indiana does not yet acknowledge same-sex marriage, Jim and Kate will also discuss the traditional legal and equitable claims that Indiana recognizes in cohabitations, and other situations involving unmarried persons in a relationship. Jim and Kate will also discuss cohabitation agreements that can be entered into during the relationship in order to address and determine such claims in advance of a termination of the relationship.
This two-credit CLE will be held at the IndyBar Education Center. To register for the program and find more information, click here.
