Just one lunch hour: That's all it takes to open the door to our legal community for a law student and to provide that student with the real life knowledge of what it's like to practice in Indy. The IndyBar's Take a Law Student event, sponsored this year by the Family Law section, is the perfect opportunity to do just that.
The luncheon, which will be held from noon to 1 p.m on Thursday, May 15 at the Hilton Indianapolis, will pair law students with practicing attorneys. The luncheon will also include the Law Student of the Year award, which will be presented to Matthew Maples of the Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
Individual attorney and student pair registrations are available, as well as tables (tables will consist of four attorneys and four students). Attorneys and students will receive their pairing approximately a week before the luncheon and should contact each other in order to make plans to meet for the event.
