In 1879, Presidents Day was created by Congress to honor our nation’s first president (nationwide by 1885) widely known for service, discipline and dedication to others. (Nerd alert: If you aren’t watching the Washington three-part series on History Channel, do yourself a favor and binge.)
This year, IndyBar members engaged in some community service by serving at our local Ronald McDonald House. Led by Patty McKinnon, members of the Solo and Small Firm Division, Family Law Section, Paralegal Committee and their families, prepared and served dinner for all who attended.
Great job, Patty, and a big thank you to all who participated! Keep an eye out for upcoming announcements for more opportunities to serve our community.
