By Mag. Kimberly Dean Mattingly, Marion Superior Court
This week’s Tips come from all over City-County Building (CCB to insiders):
- From the Probate Judge: please make sure that when you efile your appearance, you relate that appearance to your client. If you fail to do this, the appearance will show up on the CCS, but you will not get notices. Sometimes the room clerks catch this and relate it for you, but best to do this yourself.
- From the Basement of CCB: If you are in open court and want to submit a document that is confidential, like a paternity affidavit (which is confidential pursuant to 9(G)(a,b), IC 16-37-2-2.1, and IC 16-37-1-10), file this form pursuant to 9G(2).
*** Note this is different from for documents e-filed with the clerk (not in open court). Those are governed by 9G(1) (this is the Rule of 3 mentioned in an earlier Tip).
Stay tuned for a new tip next week!
