During a break in the festivities at the Section’s annual holiday party, three new members were elected to serve on your Family Law Section Executive Committee. Get to know them a little below!
Julie Andrews is a partner at Cohen & Malad LLP who practices exclusively family law. Julie began her working life as a teacher, and then decided on a career change. She began attending law school at night when her children were ages four, three and two years old! She plans to work to ensure that our members “receive opportunities to attend relevant and practical educational programs that our social events are well attended and energetic, that our members are encourages to engage in community services.”
Drew Bloch is an associate at Cross Pennamped Woolsey Glazier PC. He has been a member of IndyBar since 2004, including a three-year stint when he practiced in Muncie and served on the Muncie Bar Association Executive Committee. He believes a “good bar association is an active bar association that engages with membership and helps elevate the practice of law.”
Tara Rabiola of Cairns & Rabiola, LLP applied to serve on the Executive Committee as “an attorney who has benefited from the work of” the Family Law Section. She has completed the Bar Leader series with IndyBar and would love to see our section encourage newer lawyers to take advantage of leadership opportunities while still keeping our seasoned members engaged.
Congratulations, and welcome to our new members!
