Estate Planning and Administration News

Hear what our 2017 Estate Planning & Administration section chair, Troy Farmer, has in store for this year!

Welcome to the website for the Indianapolis Bar Association Estate Planning and Administration Section.  As the 2017 Chair, I encourage you to get involved in the Section, not only by taking advantage of our educational offerings for continuing legal education, but to participate in making this online home a useful resource for your practice.

Please consider offering us your expertise and experience by authoring submissions for our blog spot or providing links to articles you have written on your personal or firm websites. The Executive Council feels this provides an excellent opportunity for exposure to other members of the Section, especially to those who have a particular area of expertise and can serve as a resource to their fellow attorneys.

For our educational offerings, we are focusing on provided some “basics” this year for our newer attorneys or those new to the practice area of estate planning and administration, as well as offering some courses for more advanced practitioners. Please let me know if there are specific topics you would like to see reviewed in one of our educational sessions.

I encourage your active involvement, so if you have thoughts about other ways the Section may assist your practice or would like to be considered for membership on the Executive Council, please contact me or any member of the Executive Council. Please take advantage of all the Section offers you and let us know how we can assist.
