2020 promises to an exciting year for criminal justice practitioners in Marion County, and the Criminal Justice Section will be with you every step of the way with CLE, socials and support.

We have a number of exciting and informative CLE on tap this year. First, we are teaming with the Litigation Section to present a series of one-hour Lunch at the Bench programs. Starting in Feb. with Judge Jennifer Harrison (register here), come and meet judges in an informal but informative setting.

Next, also in Feb., we’re co-presenting a CLE about Elder Fraud issues with the Estate Planning & Administration Section (register here). As the year rolls along, be on the lookout for a multi-hour evidence boot camp and CLE on expungements and specialized driving privileges.

There’s no better networking than at a Criminal Justice Section social event. Meet the Judges will be hosted in the spring, join us for At the Bar with the Bar in the fall and finish the year on a high note at our annual holiday party. We play as hard as we work, and section social events are the best way to meet judges, opposing counsel and new connections in a casual setting.

Finally, subscribe to Criminal Justice Section news for updates on the new justice center, the court consolidation, the new IndyBar building, case law updates, volunteer opportunities and more.

The Criminal Justice Section has a lot to look forward to in 2020—we hope to see you around!
