Marion Superior Court is accepting resumes for a full-time Commissioner for the Arrestee Processing Center (A.P.C.).

The work schedule for this position will be based on the facility’s operating hours of 24-hours per day, 7 days per week with holiday schedules. Applicants need to be aware that the work schedule will require days, evening/nights, and weekends. This position will be scheduled to work various shifts during their work week, days or nights and on-call, which will include weekends and holiday shifts.  

Job duties will include, but are not limited to, conducting initial hearings for Misdemeanor and D-Felony offenders, probable cause reviews and making bond/bail decisions. Individual will perform judicial duties utilizing the E-file system and utilize the electronic search warrant system to rule on search warrants.

This position may include floating responsibilities in the City County building.
 
Applicants must be admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana with five years of practice and be in good standing with the Indiana Supreme Court. Marion County residency is required.

Salary: $113,049.00 annually.
