The Marion County Public Defender Agency is hosting its 17th Annual CLE/Golf Outing on Monday, October 13, 2014. The event will benefit public defender education in Marion County by going toward the scholarship training fund for Marion County Public Defenders.
There will be two CLE seminars: "Fundamentals of the DRE Evaluation in DUI Cases" presented by Kathleen Casey and "An Officer's Perspective of DUI Investigation" presented by Captain Harold Turner, F.A.C.T, sponsored by F.A.C.T. The CLEs will be held in the Public Assembly Room of the City-County Building from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Attendees will earn two general CLE credits.
Following the CLE portion of the event, a boxed lunch and golf will be provided at Maple Creek Golf & Country Club.
