Commercial & Bankruptcy Law News

Posted on: Nov 1, 2019

As many of you are aware, the Small Business Reorganization Act of 2019 (“SBRA”) was passed and takes effect on February 19, 2020.  Part of the SBRA requires the United States Trustee to appoint a new type of trustee, a chapter 11 subchapter V trustee, in cases where the debtors elect to file under subchapter V. Here is a public notice from the United States Trustee’s Office seeking to solicit applicants to become subchapter V trustees.
