On Thursday, September 25 from 4 to 5 p.m. the IndyBar Commercial and Bankruptcy Law Section will sponsor the CLE "Planning For And Understanding A Corporate Debtor’s Accounting With Discussion Regarding Personal Financial Statements For Individuals".

This seminar will include an overview of corporate accounting for bankruptcy and creditor rights lawyers and an overview of personal financial statements prepared in settlement discussions.

This seminar will review:
•    the fundamentals of accounting
•    the relationship of the three basic financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
•    reconciling statements prepared under generally accepted accounting principles to reports commonly required by the Office of the United States Trustee

The CLE is recommended for attorneys and judges practicing or interested in bankruptcy law. Kevin J. Hamernik of Hamernik LLC will be the featured speaker.
