The Indiana Department of Revenue has created a new office tasked with ensuring that the department complies with state and federal laws and regulations. It will also work on policies and procedures to make interaction with the department better for both taxpayers and practitioners. The effort is being led by Deputy Commissioner Patrick Price and Director of Compliance Cora Steinmetz.  Patrick and Cora would like to host a roundtable with insolvency practitioners to solicit input about their experiences with the department and suggestions for ways in which service could be enhanced.  The intent of the meeting is to encourage honest and frank discussion without fear of reprisals from department employees. The comments and suggestions will be assembled, but no record will be keep attributing any comment or suggestion to a particular person.
