After a fellow employee gave him the password, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said David Nosal violated the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act when logging on to his former employer's (Korn/Ferry Internaional) server to access confidential data. Tuesday, the U.S. Court of Appeals upheld that decision. Read the report from Jonathan Stempel of Reuters here.
