The Indiana Lawyer recently reported that the Indiana Supreme Court has pulled the plug on a pilot project in which cameras recorded the official court transcripts in three courts. Feedback from appellate practitioners and law clerks largely favored paper transcripts, while trial court judges and lawyers saw many benefits to the technology.
