We have all met the person who could sell milk to a cow, give criticism and get a smile, and settle the unsettleable. Having that skill would be invaluable as a mediator. Recent psychological studies have looked at the science behind motivational speech where “how you say it” is key. Here are a few tips and techniques that might help you settle that next case by changing how you communicate, not what you communicate.
