Alternative Dispute Resolution News

By Joan Champagne, White & Champagne

Hello, I’m Joan Champagne, and I am the Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section. First of all, our executive committee is creating programming with a balanced focus on civil mediation and domestic relations mediation, and ADR Plus Section members attend our one-hour CLEs at no cost. At this time, our CLE programming is virtual, but as soon as we are able to do so, we will have onsite programming and networking events!

Every month, we are drafting blog posts that appear on the ADR Section of the IndyBar website. These posts are news of interest to our section members with a special focus on timely topics that reflect what is happening with alternative dispute resolution here and now.

The ADR Section of the IndyBar website is a great resource for our section members, containing not only the blog posts but news of upcoming events and CLE as well as a registered mediator search tool.

Additionally, our executive committee has established a subcommittee to address diversity and inclusion and how our section may be of service.

Finally, I’d like to thank my executive committee for their work and thank all section members. We’re looking forward to a great year!
